Our casual letting find a tenant service means we will do all the hard work and find a tenant for your rental on your behalf! It’s available for landlords with rentals throughout The North Shore, Hibiscus Coast and Rural Rodney including Dairy Flat, Kaukapakapa. Wainui and Waitoki.
We will find you the right tenant for you, your property and the neighbours, leaving you to do all the property management for your rental!
You can have as much involvement as you like because we want our services to be as flexible as you want them. You can accompany us at the viewings, meet your new tenants or simply leave it all to us.
Our casual letting find a tenant service includes:
- List your property for rent on Trademe.co.nz $199
- Personally escorted viewings through the property with prospective tenants
- Interview all prospective and interested tenants
- Ask tenants complete our on line tenancy application form
- We will contact the references provided by the tenants
- Carry out a credit check. This includes the personal finances register, checking for previous tenancy tribunal orders, any fines, verifying their drivers licence and social media and news searches ($29.50 per check)
- We will liaise with you regarding the best tenants and you have the opportunity of meeting the tenants at any time
- We will prepare the tenancy agreement and ask the tenant to sign
- We will prepare the bond form and ask the tenant to pay 4 weeks bond which we will lodge with the bond centre
- One weeks rent plus GST (Minimum charge $650 Plus GST)
If you need extra assistance, we offer the following additional services:
- In-going condition report with supporting photographs $180 plus GST
- Out-going condition report of the property when the tenant vacates $120 plus GST per hour min charge $240 plus GST
- Regular inspections $120 plus GST
If you would like us to collect the rent on your behalf and arrange repairs and maintenance we also offer a full property management service where we take care of everything for you.
