Hollie Joss has been in the property management industry for the past 24 years. Property is what she's always done. With a career that commenced in conveyances, in respected UK law firms, it wasn't too long before, with a good hand on the legal side, Hollie hit the local UK market as a property manager building her first property portfolio from 40 to 550 managements in a matter of years and employed her own team of property managers.
In 1998, Hollie travelled the world, and visited Auckland. She loved it so much she decided Auckland was where she wanted to call home. Not here long and with property in her veins she took on the role of Property Manager for Olsen Everson in the city and again set about building a successful property management portfolio from zero to over 100 properties.
On the back of these successes in 2000, Hollie boldly decided to set up her own property management business and Able Property Management was borne. Again, an outstanding success, and within 2 years was a business managing over 300 properties. At the same time, driven by her passion for property and hunger for the best knowledge, Hollie undertook a Diploma in Business Studies and achieved her status of A.R.E.I.N.Z.
Having married her Kiwi man, Hollie started her family. Having two children, Hollie decided it was time to sell her business. It wasn't too long though, before her energy, itchy feet and a passion to feed that she decided to open her second business. Seeing a unique gap in the property management business, Hollie was the first in NZ to introduce fixed fees for property owners, versus a percentage fee. It was not long before this business grew and was a huge success and when adding a daughter to the family, sold the business to spending time at home with a young family.
Now ready for her next challenge with all children at school Hollie is looking to expand on the small portfolio of properties she currently manages for clients, friends and family. She is applying her energy, passion and wealth of knowledge to offer the very best in property management, business practise and service to her clients. Owning several commercial and residential investment properties herself, she knows the importance of "good tenants, getting your rent paid on time and knows the end goal is maximising your income and minimising your expenses."
